Downtown Farmers’ Market is now open every Friday through Dec. 15
With the summer weather kicking in, now is the best time to stroll through the Downtown Farmers’ Market, located along a charming block of San Pedro Street between Santa Clara and St. John streets. The market will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every Friday through Dec. 15. Browse through colorful flowers, gourmet foods and fresh fruits and vegetables from California-certified growers.
Don’t forget to visit this week’s featured guests at the market. See Pete Medina, a strawberry grower from Watsonville, Phantom Gallery artists Kushlani Jayasinha and Elsie Chandler with their paintings and jewelry, and merchant Golden Bay Federal Credit Union.

San Jose Sharks Playoff tickets on sale now
Though the games aren’t scheduled yet, tickets are now on sale for the first two games of the 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs scheduled at the HP Pavilion. Due to the limited number of tickets, individuals will be allowed to purchase up to four tickets total, either two tickets to two games or four tickets to one game.  My name is Leal Hsiao, I'm currently a medical student at Stanford
University. I was wondering if I could get your help in spreading the word
about a medical clinic that will be open on Saturdays starting April of
2003. The location is the Overfelt High School School-Based Clinic at 1835
Cunningham Ave. in San Jose. We will be offering free medical services,
