agency registered as a global organization in The Hague, the
Netherlands in September 2003. Founded in the United Kingdom
in 1972, for over 30 years, AA has been growing and

the world's poorest and most disadvantaged people in 42

ActionAid International Vietnam is one of the leading
international non-governmental organisations working in the
country with the objective of eradicating poverty by
facilitating the process of empowering the poorest and
excluded people with special reference to ethnic minorities
and women. Started its operation in the mountainous province
of Son La in 1989, after more than 15 years, ActionAid
Vietnam has evolved to an organisation of national
significance. At present, ActionAid Vietnam works in 19
provinces through the country with a total of over 60,000
poor households directly benefiting from its programme
activities. Various programmes are implemented in both
long-term development areas and development initiatives with
local and community-based partner organisations.
ActionAid International Vietnam (AAV) is seeking to recruit
well-qualified and experienced Vietnamese citizens for the
following positions:
1. Women’s Rights Coordinator. Job code: M-0601- Women’s
rights
2. Funding and Fundraising Manager. Job code: M-0602- FF
3. Senior Programme Officer (HIV&AIDS theme). Job
code:SPO-0601-HIV&AIDS
4. Senior Impact Assessment and Shared Learning Officer. Job
code: SPO-0602-IA&SL
These posts will be based in Hanoi with frequent travels to
project/programme sites.
Contract details:
Regular contract; competitive benefit package.
Starting date: as soon as possible.
Range of annual gross income:
- For positions no. 1& 2 US$ 10,800-12,000
- For positions no. 3 & 4 US$ 7,200- 8,000
